DETAILS: Elliot Lake Lawn Care was established by the current owner in 1993. It has grown to become the largest lawn care company in Elliot Lake and the North Shore between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie. Approximately 300 customers receive weed control and fertilizer services. Other services include aerating, dethatching, raking, pruning and commercial grass cutting. In the past landscaping, residential grass cutting, seeding, sodding and snow removal services were available. There is the potential to greatly increase revenue by offering these services again and by expanding services to Blind River, and the North Shore.

Elliot Lake Lawn Care has a great reputation and is a familiar name in Elliot Lake.The shop is located at 60 Hergott Avenue, Elliot Lake, Ontario. The lot is about 0.58 acres in size with 136.78 feet of frontage on the road and 184.75 feet deep. It consists of a lower gravel parking area, and a fenced in and gated upper area. The current annual property taxes are $3414.00

The main shop building is 38 feet wide by 28 feet deep. It consists of 2 steel man-doors and one garage door.

The main building contains a 10 by 10 foot office with a steel door to access the outside of the building and one for the shop interior. There is an electric baseboard heater.

The washroom is 10 by 8 feet with a sink, urinal and toilet. There is a five gallon hot water tank and a baseboard heater.

The shop area contains the rest of the ground floor area with a steel door and the garage door. It has 200 amp electrical service. There is a ceiling mounted electric heater and a pellet stove. Walls are insulated and with drywall on the main floor. Gas heating is available on the street. There is a security system with four outside cameras.

The upper level is open and unheated although it can be closed in and insulated as in original plans.

There is an 18 foot by 16 foot wooden shed with vinyl siding and a metal roof and two doors and rooms.

Also three metal sheds, 6 by 6 feet, 14 by 10 feet and 10 by 10 feet in size. There is also one 10 foot wide by 20 foot deep tent shelter.

A Turfco Aerator with Honda motor.
